Lean Six Sigma Services
PSG’s process engineers employ “Lean Six Sigma” principles and practices to facilitate the improvement and management of business processes through implementation of sound engineering process disciplines. Our Lean Six Sigma Services provides a data driven approach that provides real improvements to the bottom line.
These services consist of the following activities:
- Performing Value Stream Analyses
- Determining the “Voice of the Customer”
- Establishing and monitoring performance metrics
- Developing solutions that improve processes and reduce inefficiencies
- Implementing process improvements
Through the utilization of the very powerful Lean Six Sigma tool; PSG engineers identify and eliminate waste in processes.
Our usual engagements use the following sequential steps:
- Development of current organizational “As-Is” process flows
- Identification of waste in the processes (non value added activities)
- Identification of missing process components
- Definition of the improved processes (“To-Be” and the Ideal)
- Development of an improvement strategy and Gap plan
- Implementation of the Gap plan
- Monitoring of cause and effect metrics and take appropriate action
