PSG's CMMI consultants are uniquely qualified to assist customers in achieving CMMI level maturity. Our experienced personnel have developed an approach that will expedite the customer's journey to CMMI compliance. By working closely and establishing a partnership with the customer we are able to provide a customized methodology to help improve a customer's processes through the use of any of the CMMI Models; including CMMI for Acquisition, CMMI for Development and CMMI for Services. Our consultants provide support in preparing an organization for formal CMMI certification by an SEI certified appraiser. This support includes:
- CMMI compliant Project Management Plans (PMPs)
- Individually developed process plans that support each of the selected CMMI Model required process areas
- Insight and assistance in the gathering of artifacts that validate specific practice requirements for certification
- Support for the SEI SCAMPISM B or C assessments and SCAMPI A appraisals
- Process Audit checklists to meet process audit requirements
- Providing hands-on support that minimizes impact to customer business commitments and personnel support
- Development of Project Data Repository for configuration management of project generated work products
PSG utilizes a four phased approach in support of SEI CMMI SCAMPI B assessments and SCAMPI A appraisals as depicted in following figure:
Artifact Gathering
Gather artifacts, implement missing processes and institutionalize all process areas.
Gap Analysis
Assessing process performance through analysis of artifacts for identification of strengths and weaknesses.
Process Implementation
Providing expertise in process plan development and implementation.
SCAMPI A & B
Providing consultation and hands-on support for SEI SCAMPI A appraisals or B assessments.
